Elevate Your Game

The WVU Baseball Biomechanics and Performance Center, in partnership with BioPrecision LLC, offers advanced performance services to the public, including high school, collegiate, amateur, and professional baseball athletes. At BioPrecision LLC, their mission is to deliver cutting-edge biological and biomechanical solutions that help athletes reach their peak potential. Through innovative, data-driven assessments and personalized feedback, their highly qualified staff empower players to optimize their performance, refine their mechanics, and train smarter.

Pitching Assessments

Train Smarter with Evidence

Our pitching assessments use motion capture, force plates, and ball-tracking to give athletes a complete picture. Includes drill recommendations in consultation with our team.
  • Ball Flight Metrics / Personalized reporting and feedback on pitch shapes.
  • Pitch Design and Delivery Audit / Optimize mechanics and pitch shapes.
  • Forceplates / Ground‑force profiling with NewtForce.
  • Motion Capture Analysis / 3D biomechanical tracking with KinaTrax.

Hitting Assessments

Unlock Your Swing’s Full Potential

Our hitting evaluations integrate motion capture, force plates, and ball-tracking to deliver a comprehensive analysis of swing mechanics and performance. Each session includes tailored drill recommendations developed in collaboration with our expert team.
  • Swing Performance Insights / Customized feedback on launch metrics, contact quality, and swing path.
  • Mechanics Optimization / Fine-tune movement patterns for improved power, timing, and consistency.
  • Lower Body Force Analysis / Assess ground force production and sequencing to enhance swing efficiency.
  • Motion Capture Analysis / 3D biomechanical tracking with KinaTrax

Camps and Clinics

We also host seasonal camps and clinics for athletes at all levels. Each program integrates state-of-the-art technology, professional instruction, and competitive training environments. Limited scholarships and financial aid may be available for qualifying athletes.

The BPC is a place that a lot of players have valued for progression this season. The technology we use has been good for development mechanically and pitch-ability. I’ve found new things mechanically that have been able to elevate my game throughout the fall to be ready for the spring season.

Being able to call the BPC a home away from home has been a one-of-a-kind resource and opportunity for me. It allows me to work without guessing and to understand what’s happening in my sequence and what needs to be adjusted. I am a big feel pitcher, so having both the feel and the ability to see what’s really going on under the hood has helped me better understand what those feels actually are and how to repeat them over and over again. The BPC shows you exactly what you’re doing, there’s no guessing as to what’s right, what needs work, or how it compares to MLB league averages. Those are great things to be able to see and work toward. It’s concrete evidence that allows me to get better without guessing and to know exactly what I need to improve.

The BPC has elevated our player development from observation-based coaching to objective development. Seeing a player’s movement in real time while getting immediate feedback — allows for adjustments to translate directly onto the field. The data helps show the players why changes were being made, which helps accelerate buy-in and shorten the trial-and-error phase. We can now build individual development plans based on how each player actually moves and produces force and work on improving each area we feel is needed to help the player succeed!
